We'll help you get to the Mátra again this year! Choose our shuttle buses to get to the festival and head back to Budapest after the concerts if you're only visiting for a day.
The shuttle buses run between BOK csarnok (Budapest) and the festival entrance. Tickets are available online only. Return tickets may also be purchased on-site with your festival wristband, subject to availability, but we recommend buying them online in advance to secure your seat.

There is a direct connection between Budapest Stadionok bus station and the festival. You can purchase your ticket to some of the services in advance HERE.
The closest city is Gyönyös, which has both a train- and bus station. You can take the bus from here to Sástó, there are several local services that stop there.

Have a look around in the Facebook group that we created for this purpose, as many people are looking to share a ride before or during the festival. You can also use this group to find accomodation.

From Budapest and Miskolc, take the M3 motorway to Gyöngyös. From Gyöngyös, follow Road 24 through Mátrafüred, and turn left after km marker 10.

The number of parking spaces is very limited. We suggest therefore to opt for public transport and car sharing services if you can.
Only vehicles with a valid permit are allowed to enter the festival grounds. Entrance is prohibited for any vehicle without a permit. Parking or stopping in front of the festival entrance is not allowed.

The Mátra Camping can be found on the main festival area. This is where the main stages, the OFF-programmes, food stalls and bars are, and there is even a Wellness section (for an extra fee). For children and the young at heart, there is a playground and a table tennis table. As this is where most of the festival takes place, we advise you to only choose this option if you like to be in the middle of it all and you don't require complete silence for sleeping at night.
Here you can choose from the following accommodation options:
A double room with its own bathroom and fridge. There is also a sofa that can be converted into a bed for two, depending on size. The only exception is the suite, with two rooms and a small kitchen.
Price per room for 4 nights:
For 1-2 guests: 290.000 HUF
For 3 guests: 330.000 HUF
For 4 guests: 360.000 HUF
For 4-5 guests: 380.000 HUF
There is only a very limited number of each type of room, which means that once the double rooms have gone, we can only offer rooms for 3-4 guests, even if you are only two. In this case, we advise you to look for roommates.
The camping offers various cabins, some of them with their own kitchen (including fridge, stove and sink), or just a fridge. Each cabin has a bathroom with shower. For the cabins with kitchen facilities, you can ask for utensils at reception (cutlery, pots and pans, etc.).
Cabin prices for 4 nights:
4-bed with kitchen (1 double bed, 1 single bed, 1 sofa): 370.000 HUF
5-bed (1 double bed, 1 bunk bed, 1 sofa): 380.000 HUF

The motelrooms are located in the middle of the festival area, in a single-storey building. It takes you back in time to the scout camps you attended as a child. The rooms have 4 beds (two bunk beds), and don't have their own bathroom. However, each room has a sink and a mirror. Shared bathrooms are located in the corridor (separate for men and women), which were refurbished in 2022. There is a large common room in the building, with a big fridge where you can store your food.

4-bed room: 190.000 HUF
The campsite is the perfect place to set up your tent. It has multiple bathroom-facilities, which were recently refurbished. There are also multiple locations where you can charge your electronic devices.

The camp is approximately 5 minutes walking if you pass along the lake from the festival area. If you like a good night's sleep after the concerts, then this is the place for you, as it is far enough from the festival itself for you to sleep sound.

The Panorama Pension is a separate accomodation option in an approximately 10-12 minute walk from the Mátra Camping and Mátra Camp. It is situated in the Adrenaline Park and is also accessible by chairlift.

Cashless is a system which makes money transactions on the festival faster and easier. You will have a wristband onto which you can upload any amount of your choice to spend at any catering service or shop within festival grounds. Any amount left on your wristband can be reclaimed in person at the festival or afterwards online.

You will receive your wristband upon entrance at the festival, after your ticket is validated.
Your wristband will be valid for the entire duration of the festival and can be used as many times as you like. For security reasons, the maximum balance that can be loaded onto the wristband is HUF 300,000.
If your balance is too low, you won’t be able to pay, but staff will show you where to find the nearest top-up point.
You'll need the barcode on your ticket, then you can top-up your wristband even before then festival, at home.

You're free to top up your wristband with any amount you like. However, if you're planning to use the on-site top-up points, we recommend loading enough credit for your entire stay. That way, you'll spend less time queuing and won't have to return to top up again if your balance runs out.

Your wristband is the only accepted payment method at the festival. You can use it in any bar, shop, catering service and for merchandise.
Yes, and it won't get damaged by sunlight or rain either.
Losing your wristband is the same as losing your wallet or ticket, so please make sure it is secured around your wrist. In case it gets lost or stolen despite your precautions, you can request a new one at the Information Desk. You will be requested to show your ticket and/or adequate means of identification. However, any amount left on the original wristband will be lost.
If you have any remaining balance on your wristband, you can get a refund at any on-site top-up point before you leave, or request it online after the festival. If you're claiming your refund on-site, please note that the top-up points are only open until the festival officially closes. If you'd rather request your refund online after the festival, don't forget to keep your wristband after you leave – you'll need it for the refund process.
